Dr. Kale Kirkland – An Eminent Thinker and Psychologist

Dr. Kale Kirkland holds an extensive educational background and years of experience in the field. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology.He completed his Master of Arts (M.A. - 2008)and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. - 2011) in Clinical Psychology from University of Mississippi, followed by a one-year internship at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Worth, a federal prison within the Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Since that time, Dr. Kale has become licensed to practice psychology in Alabama, and earned his certifications asa Certified Forensic Examiner and Certified Mental Coach (2012).
Dr. Kale Kirkland has been teaching psychology at the undergraduate level since 2008, starting at Itawamba Community College, and then getting hired by the University of Phoenix in 2011. Since that time, he has been teaching psychology 365 days per year, both at the undergraduate and graduate level. For the University of Phoenix, he primarily teaches Biological Foundations of Psychology, Illness Prevention and Health Promotion, and Evidence-Based Interventions in Behavioral Health.He also taught for Liberty University’s Master’s Degree Counseling program from 2014-2016.
When not helping others or in teaching mode, Dr. Kale is busy spending time with his son, family,exercising, or engaged in a number of various hobbies.
